Traditions

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
I agree with my sister Deanna! My father and mother have wonderful taste!
Brown Paper Packages tied up with strings...no kidding. We {heart} brown paper at our house!!! There's just something about that brown paper and twill tape.

2. Real tree or Artificial?
Real...I don't think we EVER had a fake tree growing up...We have always gone to our ranch in Wyoming and gotten a beautiful tree! This year we went up the canyon and got one ;) a little more close to home! This year I took a tree to my apartment in Provo! Real of course!!!

3. When do you put up the tree?
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas...the most logical time...usually the day or two after Thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down?
Last Wednesday ;) at least in my apartment! At home it stays a little bit after Christmas... a little into January sometimes!

5. Do you like eggnog?
I will have hot chocolate or milk... no raw eggs for me please!

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
I remember when I was really really little, when we still lived in Springville, getting a barbie house! it was two stories and pink and blue! It was for Deanna and I and I loved it!

7. Hardest person to buy for?
I can never think of what to buy for friends... I think it's the hardest... family is easy ;) for the most part

8. Easiest person to buy for?
Katelyn! she always gives me hints... and not subtle either. She told me what she wanted this year, and I told here to wait for her birthday ;)

9. Do you have a nativity scene?
Not one of my own.... someday I will have a beautiful set for ME!

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
I leave that up to parents for now

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Oh Deanna! I am so so sorry! I loved that watch dearly though! (if you have no idea what I'm talking about, then read Deanna's blog) I can't think of a worst Christmas gift... I just try to be grateful for what I do get

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
A White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, & Little Women

13. When do you start shopping?
oh, a little in advance. When I find what I want, then I get it

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Not that I can think of... I have given a few to my little sisters as hand-me-downs though... but not as gifts

15. Lights on the tree?
Only wrapped around every single branch and twig! We use to have colored lights, but now my mom puts white lights on! It is always such a beautiful tree!

16. Favorite Christmas song?
I love so many! I really like Amy Grant's Grown Up Christmas List and Breath of Heaven! I also love Reba's Christmas cd... and a few more too!

17. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
When we lived in Springville we would always go to our cousins or grandparents houses, but now we just stay home and enjoy each others company!

18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's?
Suprisingly yes. Can You? :)

19. Angel on the tree top or a star?
Um... depends if the tree can hold it ;) my mom has a star so I suppose we do

20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or Morning?
What kind of question is that!?!? Christmas Morning, always. Exceptions: Pajamas on Christmas eve.!

21. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
I absolutely love Christmas music, but when people play it before Thanksgiving... That is just way annoying

22. Favorite ornament theme or color?
I don't like red and green together except at Christmas time.! Then I love it! but I really like deep reds and greens! They are so beautiful!

23. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
hmmm...something like ham and potatoes with some delicious salad! Yum!

24. What do you want for Christmas this year?
I didn't know what to write to Santa this year! I mostly just am glad to be home with everyone and to be done with my first semester of school!

25. What is your all-time favorite Christmas Tradition?
My favorite tradition is watching all the Christmas movies with my family! Especially my dad! I love quoting them all throughout the Christmas Season!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Waiting for a while...

So I don't have time to go through and make all my stuff private and all that so I will adjust the setting during the Christmas break!
But anyways, I just wanted to express my appreciation to my family for such a fun and memorable Thanksgiving! I had a great week & loved seeing my family and even had time to see a few friends! I expect Christmas wont be quite as fun cause all the family isn't going to be up in Idaho this year ;) but Christmas will be great with the ones that will be there!
Luv you all!
Stephanie

BTW!~ Thanks Dad for the Christmas Tree!
*Me and my roommates have a beautiful Idaho Christmas tree in our Kitchen! I got home last night at 10 pm and we put lights and decorations on it! It looks great! We even made a little paper star to go on top ;) It's pretty fun!*

Thank You All!

Dear Everyone,
Thank you for being wonderful!
